Praying For Mercy

There is a circus parade,
In my very own head today
Ten thousand times I wept
Died and came back again!

If you could lift this burden
I promise my life to you
Devote all my being
In praise the glory of you!

Every day I call for help
Every night my heart cries
My troubles weight so high
I can barely see the sky!

There is a circus parade
Took over my soul today
I died and came back once more
Still the parade went on

I am down on my knees
Begging for little mercy
Get me out of this mess
And my life is yours to keep!

  1. I can feel the very deep emotions in this poem again, how very good you are at conveying your emotions when you write just really awes me.

  2. I see the agony of a helpless person pleading for relief. I've known those feelings well at times. I hope that's not you right now. Another very good poem.

  4. I feel sad now. Your fault! };-(

This brings back memories to when I cry myself to sleep. But as all trial comes, it all goes away too..

And btw, on a lighter note, that's a terrible parade in the head. Seeing clowns! I used to hate them when I was a kid. They frighten me...
