The Varieties of Pink Zinnias
Last year zinnia seeds yield many beautiful flowers for me this year! I have orange, yellow, and pink zinnia flowers growing in two pots. Some of these flowers have totally different shapes and colors from what I remembered them in the previous year!
Once bloomed, zinnias last for at least three to four weeks, and this is not counting the stages of the flowers dying out. It is for this reason that I love growing zinnias. They keep me happy when all the other flowers were gone!
Growing Bud
We had so much rain this year that I missed the beginning bud, but this one will do just fine. The light pink is delightful to see. This pink comes up after my orange zinnia, and receives much less attention since the weather took over!
Growing Bigger
I do not like how my pictures turned out after I uploaded them to my blog! They look dull and not as bright as they were originally. Since I like to keep my pictures in their original form, I just keep them the way they are, unless I'm having fun creating art pieces!
One Bloom
This zinnia starts out with a deep pink color, and their petals are long and smooth looking. I was very fortunate to have three different types of pink zinnias, two different types of yellow zinnias, and three different types of orange zinnias growing this year.
Wrinkly Petals
This flower has a lighter color of pink and the petals are wrinkly! In the sun it looks very pink but as it grows the color becomes much softer.
Here They Are
These two zinnias have different petal shapes and colors! The buds start out the same, but as they develop, they have different feel and look to them
Mature Pink Zinnia
I think this is my favorite shape and type of zinnia. It is just so elegant looking, and the light pink color is very pretty.
One Busy Lady
How many layers of petals can you count in this one zinnia? This flower is the busiest one of all, and its stages of growing and dying are fascinating to follow. This is a different type of pink zinnia, since the petals are much shorter.
Growing Older
Though this zinnia is getting older, its beauty remains vivid in the shape! When we take time to actually admire the living things on this earth, we will find the beautiful aspects in every thing.
