Scenic Sunday--Colorful Flowers
There are three wings to the Detroit Conservatory: the cactus wing, the fountain wing, and this flowers wing all in oval shape. At the time of the year changes, so are the flowers in this beautiful garden!
If you live in Metro Detroit, visit it and keep it staying open for generations to enjoy! If you are visitors from other States, make sure you put the Conservatory on your agenda, and bring your camera.
Flowers, Flowers Every Where!
This part of the Conservatory is connected to an outdoor pond, where the Koi fishes live during the summer months. In here, you will find benches to sit, relax, breathe, and enjoy.
More Flowers to Enjoy
These are all potted flowers gathering to make an illusion of a large planted area. It is beautiful in here, and I have seen as many cameras as there are people in the Conservatory.

ReplyDeleteThey are very beautiful. I love the way that they merge as a photographic unit. Great capture. :) Your photos are always mesmorising. Hope you are well.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos and it's really neat to learn about the conservatory. I didn't know it was there and I visit family in Michigan 1-2 times a year! What a wonderful place to take a break from less than perfect weather.
ReplyDeleteIcy, your photos are always stunning. Economically Michigan is suffering and I would hate to see us lose something else of culture.
ReplyDeleteTake care & God bless.

ReplyDeleteThe flowers glow in their beauty and it seems like such a serene and peaceful spot. It's the type of place I would love and if I ever do get to that area, I will definitely visit.
ReplyDeleteI think you've found a good thing, Icy. I love conservatories, not only for the warmth they give in the winter months, but for the colours they maintain all year through.
ReplyDeleteWe need absolutely flowers to look upon nowadays, when the rain is falling and darkness falls. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteVery bright! I appreciate some cheer after all the gray weather of late.

The Detroit Conservatory looks like such a fun place to visit. The potted flowers do look like a field of them the way you pictured them. And now I know where you found the Koi fishes!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, I would love to have a place like that nearby in the winter time. It would be like a visit to Springtime.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! There aren't many flowers here right now so thanks for sharing these colourful pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I've ever been there. When I was a kid my family never went to places like this very much. Now I'm trying to catch up on all of the things I've missed or forgotten.
