Photo Challenge--Harvest Festival 2009
This weekend, Judy at The Road to Here is holding The Harvest Festival Photo Challenge, and I am excited to be a part of this event.
If you have not visited her two beautiful blogs, you're missing out on fantastic photos, and meeting a wonderful friend.
For me, harvest time begins with pumpkins. Though we don't have a Farmer Market around, the fruit and vegetable store I go to, served as one. They buy their fruits and vegetables from Michigan farmers whenever they can, and pass them on to their customer at a lower cost than any other stores.
All of my pictures in this post were taken at the store mentioned above. They always supplies ample of different things at this time of the year.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots Icy, the pumpkins, gourds and corn are amazing. I love the spider gourd, I never seen that one before. The varieties of gourds available this year is just unbelievable with all the different shapes and sizes.

Icy, these are wonderful shots and really make Thanksgiving seem right around the corner. I'm ready to haul out my wonderful pumpkin cookbook to start baking and cooking. There are dozens of fabulous recipes from sweet to savory to main dishes to dessert.
