Scenic Sunday No. 6--More Cactus View
To continue with my cactus wing at the Conservatory, here are two more pictures of this area. Though I don't think I bring justice to the beautiful view of this part of the garden, I think they can still depict the general feel of the Conservatory.
Pretty Little White Flowers
These small white flowers are like vines among these green leaves. They look like little stars almost! When I am at the Conservatory, the kids usually accompanied me, and my wandering time is limited.
Climbing on the Wall
This is one of my favorite shot of the cactus dome! I like how all the plants stretching up and climbing on to the glass part of the dome. You can also see the blue clear sky outside, even though it is freezing out there.

ReplyDeleteLove the white small flowers. Have a great Sunday Icy :)
ReplyDeleteIcy, your right. These are unusually pretty. The flowers look delicate to belong to the cactus family.
ReplyDeleteI like the flowers in the first picture, but I find the leaves even more interesting. They look so thick. I like the look of the windows in the second picture. Now I'm sure I've been there, but a long time ago.
ReplyDeletevery scenic, indeed! i'm late so allow me to greet you a Happy Monday! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Icy. The flowers in the first photo remind me of sedum, very similar to the ones I posted yesterday except these are whiter. Could that be a variety of sedum?
ReplyDeleteJudy
That second shot is gorgeous Icy, especially the way the blue sky and clouds display.
ReplyDeleteI am not good with cactus names but Betchai really knows a lot about it. Remember her beautiful garden?
