Sky Watch--Still Beautiful
Even when the day was gray, the sky was still blue, and I was able to see some wonderful beauties of our world.
Birds on the Wires
This electrical line was full of birds, and they sat against the blue sky. I have no idea how many birds, or what kind of birds these were, but it looked peaceful and contented.
Stroke of Cloud
Turning around from watching the birds, this streak of white cloud painted the sky with the silhouette of the trees. The branches seemed to stretch out in the direction of the cloud.
A Painting in the Sky
Catching a moment like this lifts my spirit and prepares me for the long winter months. The trees are almost bare of leaves, but they are still beautiful, and I'm waiting for their return.
The sky wouldn't get old. She is still beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of bare tree, too. Some of out trees also loose their leaves - but it's usually much later in the season. It's still too warm here.
ReplyDeleteThe birds and bare branches show up nicely against the sky. I like how the "painted" cloud and branches point the same direction.

ReplyDeleteI like seeing birds sitting on the wires like that. And the blue skies are a very welcome sight. The flocks of birds seem to avoid me when I have my camera.
ReplyDeleteI was noticing the other day while driving all the birds lined up on the wires and in the trees, they do look contented when they do that. Love the photos, the barren limbs are beautiful and do seem to be reaching for the clouds.
