Translia for Translators
If you are bilingual, would you ever consider becoming a translator? I did, for two years I translate paper work for clients, such as birth certificate, divorce paper, and naturalization forms. I actually get clients from non-profit organizations, and it was very rewarding.
I have no idea that there are also online translation services available, nor did I know that I can do this over the internet. Translia.com is a website that offers this service to translators, with free the membership, and the site provides the tools online.
Browsing through this website, I also learn that corporate companies can get multilingual business card translation where oversea businesses are conducted. It helps to grow with other partners. Another interesting thing is the name translation services that Translia supplies.
I am no longer work as a translator for many personal reasons. Partly, I am too emotionally involved and have strong feelings when it comes to abuses. I can't quietly do my job without airing my opinions, and when I see the same things happened again, I just can't hold in my disappointments.
If you want to become a translator, or need translation services for anything, check out Translia website. They are professional translators!

Hi, good to know about this service. It's also convenient to be able to do this from your home too. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very helpful site to know about. I will have to check it out to see what languages they offer. In a multilingual area like San Francisco, it could be a really valuable resource.
ReplyDeleteI am only fluent in English though speak some Greek so this is not for me but I will pass it along. I have a friend who is a translator in the court system and makes a fantastic living. It also allows for much flexibility as far as time is concerned.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was more fluent in other languages but my Spanish is not all that good though I am learning. So while not for me this is a great program.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a tough job for you before. I am bilingual and working on improving my other languages. Our household is basically trilingual and I'm still getting by with my spanish. Online translation helps so much most esp for us who are so much into the internet interacting with people.
