Scenic Sunday--Looking Up
This is the view when I look up in the main dome at the Conservatory. The huge palm tree is taking over the whole top of the dome, and this is a circular area where I walk around to exam the different lighting.
On the Darker Side
On this side of the circular entrance , the sun light seems to be covered by big plants, and thus letting in less brightness.
On the Brighter Side
On the exit side of the circle, the light comes through much more since it doesn't have that many big trees.

ReplyDeleteFantastic photos Icy, the effect is stunning. The fronds of the palm almost look like blades of a fan. The lighting in the last photo is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love this view of the conservatory, for more reasons than one. First, I like the skylight way up there. And second, I recognize that palm tree! Just by seeing it, I know now that I've been there before! I couldn't remember the place, but I recognize that tree. Now I'm happy.

Looking up always gives me that sense of wonder and this photo is the perfect example, well done Icy.
