Sky Watch--Tree Top
Looking at the sky is becoming one of those must do things on my list. The day starts out very gray, and then slowly we get patches of blue sky and white clouds. The sky constant changes reminds me of human's emotion also.
The View Under the Tree
All the trees are very much bare now! There are only either berries or seeds left on them. The tree on the far left are full of red berries, and the one in the middle carries the seeds of rose of sharon.
Seeds at the Tree Top
I love how the seeds of the rose of sharon look against the clear blue sky. They are beautiful just the way they are. This particular tree is very tall, or maybe I'm too short, but they look so mighty tall in the picture!
Weaving Together in the Sky
I like how these photos turned out! The black dots you see at the bottom right are birds! They congregate around these trees every day.

yey, for the first time, I am the first :) love your sky pictures Icy, actually, one of the joys in winter I like is looking at the sky through bare trees, somehow, I find it having a very unique and solemn character.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies Icy, I do like the bare limbs.
ReplyDeleteThe almost-bare limbs are pretty against the blue sky. Before you know it, though, leaves will be coming forth again. Right now, though, it's pretty chilly outside and we are expecting rain tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThe is the sky in your eyes. How is it in the eyes of a monkey?
ReplyDeleteEver-changing skies and colors, like emotions laid bare.
ReplyDeleteOh, these are great and I love them Icy. I like how the colors turned out.
ReplyDeleteIt's a rare thing to see blue skies around here now. I sometimes forget to look up to the trees and get pictures, so I'm glad I can look at yours.
ReplyDeleteLove how the branches looks with the sky as a background.
ReplyDeletelovely post..
ReplyDeletethe seeds look like little butterfly
ReplyDeleteA smile from SJ =)
The branches against the sky are very attractive. Gosh, I guess our Rose of Sharon must have died. I haven't thought about it for years.
ReplyDeleteYou were a top commenter in November at My Quality Day, and so have won a small banner link for a month. I just posted the results. Thanks!
I love looking at everything with a different perspective now. I stopped my grand daughter as we got out of my car in the driveway today and asked her if I was seeing berries on this very tall tree in my yard. The branches reach so high that I can scarcely tell so I took a photo with telephoto to get a clearer look. Why is it that all these things escaped me before? Isn't it wonderful seeing the world with an heightened awareness?
ReplyDeleteMost trees here are bare too almost bald like an old man =P
