Last Wish

As I grow old and fall apart
I tell you to catch my heart
As it might have toughened a bit
And forget the love ones I had

So with you I lay my soul
As I grow and fall apart
Be gentle and care for it
Hold it somewhere near your heart

As life comes in full circle
I tell you to catch my heart
As I grow old and fall apart
I have gone as far as I could have

When my body gives out on me
Do treat it with gentle touch
For it has housed both of us
Through a long journey we call life!

As I grow old and fall apart
Hold my hands and stroke my flesh
Your warm touch will ease my forgetfulness
And help me linger in reality!

Watching the Sky--On the Way Home

Last week, on the drive home from the soccer field, my son and I witnessed the most beautiful colors of the sky, ever. We had our eyes fixed on the changing of colors, and below are JoJo's photos for the day. (I was driving, if you want to know!)

It All Started With This

JoJo snapped this picture on the highway, and though the picture was not in high quality, I still love the colors as the sun went down in the horizon.

In the City

He took another shot as we reached the city street, closer to home. When he took this picture, I told him that I didn't want people, houses, cars or building in it. I just wanted the sky, and he complied as best as he could.

Move Back, Mom

He leaned over to my side in the above picture and commanded me to move my head out of the way. As you can tell, he listened and I was out of his way!

Our World

JoJo took this picture right through the windshield glass! The whole composition turned out great even with cars in it. The night colors was just beautiful that evening.

Good Night, City

As we turned to the corner to our home, he snapped the last picture and was happy with his own contribution. He asked, "Are you going to put them on your website?"

How can I say no? After all, the pictures are just fantastic!

Purple Chrysanthemum

Purple is my favorite color, any shade of purple! As the weather is changing, many stores display a variety of mums as a welcome sign to Autumn.

I love the colors that Autumn brings, but I am also dreaded the winter season that will follow.

Fresh and Vibrant

Seeing this display in the market, I couldn't help but taking my camera out, and click a few times! It feels odd to sneak around to take pictures, though no one has ever approached me and asked me to stop yet!

Pretty Bunches

I didn't feel comfortable snooping too long around these flowers since there was a crowd of people looking to take them home. I would love to zoom in just one flower for the details but couldn't manage one this time.

Sweet Memory

These chrysanthemums are really good looking, but honestly, they don't smell good at all! I love looking at them, and admire their beauty, but I won't smell them again..or maybe I'm the only one that has this problem.

You will let me know, won't you?

Change It Up With Delicious Food

I learn about this week theme Julia, Julia..Food through Judy at Through Squirrel Eyes, and I couldn't resist posting these food photos that I have stacked in my folders.

Judy led me to Brenda's Photo Challenge blog, and I need no more excuses to join in the fun.

All in One Dish

This is one of my children's favorite foods. The round white pancakes are steamed, then topped with sauté yellow onion, green onion, chopped up shrimp, Vietnamese sausage strips, and bean sprout.

JoJo's Creation

My little boy created this plate for me on the day I was sick! He peeled the orange, arranged it in the pin wheel notion, and topped it with a cookie! It made a mother felt much better afterward.

Grilled Chicken and Noodle

Hungry yet? I love grilled chicken since it can go with everything, and it is much healthier than fried chicken.

Caesar Salad with Lot of Cheese

I can eat all kind of salad every day, and Caesar salad is one of the best! After posting these pictures, I must go getting something to eat...

White Sashta Daisies

It is a joy to see a field of flowers even if they are in a nursery. There is something about flowers that catch everyone attention. I have seen men, not only women, and children stop to smell the flowers.

Sashta Daisies

I love browsing through nurseries or anywhere that have flowers on display. The different colors, types, and varieties of flowers are always so joyful to the eyes. I can spend hours looking, learning and taking pictures of them.

One Single Beauty

I believe this flower is called Sashta Daisy! I like the crisp white color of the petals, and the yellow head in the middle. This daisy really stood out and called for attention. I usually listen or waiting for something to catch my eyes.

Lack of Lighting

Though this daisy is kept in a corner where there were no light, it held its own attraction, and exposed the head more vividly than others in the family.

Here Comes the Water

While I was taking pictures of these daisies, the hose went off to give them a quick drink. I wanted to get a closeup of the yellow part, but couldn't risk getting my camera wet.

Water Drops

This was my last shot of the Sashta daisies as I had to go away from this spot quickly. Giving the fact that I was spending way too long in the nursery, I leave before causing suspicion to the gardener.

Enjoy your day!

The Old Couple

Some times in May
She passed away
A few days shy
Before Mother’s Day!

Some times in June
He passed away
A few days shy
Before Father’s Day!

A husband, a wife
I had a chance to meet
A lifelong of love
So real…I can even feel!

She touched him, gently
A bright smile on her tired face
I am here, dear, I am here
There, there, sweetie, let us be!

Pain in my heart
Sorrow in my soul
Tears on my cheeks
Watch them deteriorate!

So now they are gone
And I feel lost
A love like theirs
I yearn to have!

Watching the Sky--Amazing Sight

The weather has been gloomy, with scattered rain throughout all day, and I knew I have to take my son to his soccer practice. I called the coach to see if it would be canceled. No such luck, as long as it is not lightening or thunder, we still have to go.

Angry Cloud

I left the house prepared and aimed with umbrella, hat, and jacket in hands. It usually was cold out in the open field when there was no sun light. We arrive at practice and I saw this cloud above waiting for us.

Immaculate Colors

After stake out my spot behind the field line, I spotted these amazing colors a bit to the left side of the field. I love it so much that the camera had to be put to use.

The Sun Tries to Come Out

Though the sun tried to come out a few times, it was not able to stay long. We got dark cloud hovering above our heads the entire two hours. I didn't mind as I got to see amazing colors came and went right in front of my eyes.

Feel the Power

The dark cloud came over with strong wind, but still the sun fought to show its present. It was like these two were in a great argument with one another. Well, together they gave me such an amazing sight to see, and for that I'm grateful!

No One Wins

After watching this moment, we got rain on, but as soccer parents, we sat through it. I took refuse with my umbrella and jacket. The soccer players though, love to play in the rain. It didn't bother them a bit to be all wet and muddy.

Have a great weekend!
