Mailbox Will Be Changed
Due to a wind storm we had last week, my old wall mount mailbox decided to take a fly. I don't know how long this house had this mailbox, but I am sure it is very old. The weather has left some touches on its black paint and it show signs of rusts.
I haven't thought about replacing it until I start surfing the net. You know, I had one of those times when I was looking for something, and then end up with totally the different thing. I was like that! I can't seem to focus lately! Anyway, while straying from my task, I saw many beautiful design wall mount mailboxes and thought I should replace mine.
After the wind storm, I found my old poor mailbox buried under a thin layer of snow. My neighbors all had their house mailboxes intact, but mine went for a dip! After I saw the above wall mounted mailboxes, I like the second one best. It looks whimsical and matches up with my brick wall perfectly.
We are still in winter, so the old faithful mailbox has to hang on for a while longer. I'll have to wait for Spring to spruce up my house with a better looking mailbox. For now, it is too cold to stay outside for a small project like this.

Wow, they have so many nice designs, how are you ever going to decide which mailbox to buy?
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to have a new mailbox. Just a little change like that can really spruce up a house! My mail drops into the garage through an opening so I don't have the problem of a box flying off!
ReplyDeleteThe one we have came with the house five years ago, it is just a boring black metal. I really like the one on the bottom left, it would be perfect for our house.
ReplyDeletevery nice! I'm bored with mine.
ReplyDeleteVery cute mailboxes - wish I can have one of those.
ReplyDeleteIcy, I like the second one too. It has a quaint charm about it.
ReplyDeleteThe fleu de liz and the purse looking one look so cute!
