Beautiful and Colorful Leaves
What you see here is not the colors of leaves in the fall, but rather beautiful new spring leaves from a bush on the school ground. If you live in Michigan, you probably see this bush around too, and many of them come back from the winter with these gorgeous colors.
The leaves have multi-colors, ranging from yellow, orange, pink, green and red. It is unusual to see these colors in the spring, but here you have it, they are these colors.
These colors are just so beautiful to see after a long winter. Yes, they are just leaves, but they are just as attractive to me as flowers.
I saw this same bush in the fall, but it didn't have multi-colors like this. It was mostly reddish, and orange.

Very unique colors! My first thought was Autumn until you mentioned they were the colors of spring. It must be a beautiful sight with these bushes around.

beautiful and colorful they are, I've seen many of them around but only they are dark red.

ReplyDeleteIt looks a little bit like my viburnum hybrid, which also has marvellous spring colours! They're always more tender and subtle in spring, aren't they - quite lovely.

ReplyDeleteI like the way these clors are mixed with the normal seeming green. They do almost seem like flowers.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the reasons I love spring, there is color everywhere. The leaf groupings almost look like fairies dancing.

ReplyDeleteGreat photo of the old stone building in Detroit The details and stone works on that old building are amazing. We have structures in this country that have gone by the wayside either for the new and sleek or better areas for the old locations are in Urban decay. Glad it is being used.
