Scenic Sunday--Just Glorious Flowers

Happy Easter!

I have finally made it back Belle Isle on a beautiful nice day this week, and the Conservatory has flowers on display. Lillies, daisies, azaleas, orchids, inpatients, and many other flowers adore the entire area, which were absolutely beautiful to see.

In this wing, by the fish pond, they also place a few small pots of lilac plants and they smell so good. It was the smell of spring, the sign of spring, and the arising of the earth.

We spent about three hours at Belle Isle, and about an hour on the road driving back and forth between our home and the island. It was exactly what I needed to recharge, re-fuse, re-fresh for both soul and body.

  4. What lovely flowers and I can imagine the scent of lilacs was wonderful.

It was a pretty dreary Easter in San Francisco but I met Poetic Shutterbug for breakfast and that made the day sunny for me!
