Cluster of Yellow Bell Flowers
I am not sure what these flowers are called. When I look them up, some said they are Markhamia lutea, yellow bean tree, while others said they are yellow hibiscus. To me, they are just beautiful yellow flowers.
These pictures were taken last year at a local nursery. I love the shape of these flowers since they look like bells, or trumpets.
The flowers bloom in a cluster, with dotted red veins in middle. The yellow color is vibrant and very cheerful.
If you know what they are, how to grow them, please leave me a comment. I would love to try to grow these yellow flowers this summer.

Scenic Sunday--Lost In a Dream
Spring is one of best time to see blooming trees. Some are already in full bloom while others are still in their budding stages. These trees below were position in full sun, so they were blooming beautifully despised the chilly weather.
Here were some blooming trees that I saw at Metro Park. Spring is here even though the weather is still cold on some days. It was a sight to behold and a glorious day!
We didn't spend too much time at the park since it was cold and windy. It seems colder by the water for some reasons, but I was glad to see these trees.

Sky Watch--Through Dark Branches
Through the branches and through the trees
As sun ray shines down on earth
I sing glory to the glimpse of light!
The cloud form magnificent dances
Through dark branches and electric wires
I bow to nature's beauties!
Leaves are out on tree branch tops
Wires form a thick canopy
But beauties are there for those who seek!

Four Petals Yellow Flowers
I am pretty sure that these yellow tiny flowers are called Kalanchoe, because they were taken on the same day as my pink ones, and in the same place. You can read a little bit information on these flowers from the link included here.
These flowers were very small, and the lighting in the store was very poor too. The pictures didn't show up the way I have visualized them, but these have to do for now until we get some flowers outside.
My flash went off in this shot and gave the deeper yellow color a lighter touch. According to the information that I've learned, these flowers would make an excellent choice as indoor plants.

Scenic Sunday--Water Lilies
I always have a fascination with water lily flowers. For one thing, they grow in the water, and sometimes that means I can't get close to them. For another thing, water lilies are just beautiful.
I was lucky even to see these flowers below last summer, at Belle Isle fish pond. I haven't seen water lilies anywhere else yet.
Oh, I wanted to zoom all the way in to take a closer picture of these gorgeous pink water lilies, but they were way out in the middle of the pond.
This was a yellow water lily but the sun was so bright it washed the color out. To make up for the lost of color, I was able to capture the fish swam by it.

Dream Cars For the Future
I have no preferences for the type of car I might want. If someone asked me what car do you like, or do you like that car, I actually don't know what to say. Cars are all nice to me, especially if they works when I need to go somewhere.
My oldest boy has a particular liking to BMW, but he also working on financing a chevy malibu for work and school. My daughter likes trucks or bigger car for safety. The gmc sierra is her current dream, but she would settle for the kia forte to stay in the loop with her finance. Whenever I suggest my kids to be reasonable, and be real, they all tell me two words, "But mom.."
I reminded them how all five of us used to squeeze in a nissan maxima for years. We lived through it and we survived it. We have to prioritize for what is more important in life. However, I have to agree with them about having dreams to spice up our reach in the future. It is a goal designing to stretch us further on the road to success.
For now, my kids are listening and doing what they can at they start out with their lives. As parent, I just want them to have a decent car to get them to wherever they go. The type of car, or the maker of car should not be on the list of wants just yet. Their time to get what they want will come, later, much later!

Sky Watch--Under The Blue Sky
This tree and its leaves shine
It commands for a full stop
Take a closer look and admire
And the few dried leaves hung about
Many might see a dead barren tree
But my naked eyes see dancing music notes
The tree sings in harmony with it branches
And the wind kisses each music notes
Gently, softly, caressing me!

Exercise is Good For Our Health
Studies have shown that exercise can be very beneficial to our health. With spring on the wing and summer is not far behind, many of us want to shred our winter weight. I know I need to have an Insanity Workout to help pump up my heart and muscles.
Well, maybe I should say I need to have vigorous exercise since my family have a trace of diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Yike, that sounds bad, but so far I could only squeeze in 10 minutes a day doing some routine stretches.
For people that looking for ways to lose weight and in a hurry to get in shape, Slim in 6 is a program for you. The program is designed to give you a slim body in six weeks.
Whatever your reason to exercise, the bottom line is, it is good for your health and should keep it as our priority.

Find Low Fares for Your Vacation
Spring break is around the corner for many families, especially for high school seniors. It is not too late to look for cheap flights or destinations to those places of your dream. One thing to keep in mind though to stay clear of Mexico, a certain area in Florida, and Acapulco according to the news I heard last night. These areas are currently undergo some troublesome, and it is best to be safe.
If you are looking for airline tickets, get online and check out prices. Sometimes, you may get lucky booking at the last minutes. So if traveling plan is in your game for spring vacation, don't give up your search for lower ticket price.
There is other travel site such as MyTravelWeb that offers some great information where you can check out the Last Minute Travel Deal section. Being flexible is the key when you are looking for cheap prices, and understand that your fingers will have to do lots of "walking".
In any case, there is a travel restriction being issue so better check out the news before you're making a final decision. No matter where you're going for a vacation though, be safe and have fun.

St John's Wort Flowers
If I am not mistaking, the flowers below are called St John's wort. These flowers are just so pretty, unlike their name. I have heard of health benefits from St John's wort plant, but finally saw the flowers.
There is all kind of information about St John's wort online if you are interested in knowing more. I just want to feature these beautiful flowers.
I first saw these flowers in the garden section of home goods store, and just couldn't part way with them. They had rows and row of these flowers on display, which was just breath taking to see.
I love how the "whiskers" spreading all around the seed and the flower petals. Hopefully I will to see them again this year, and maybe even bring a pot home to grow.
