what nice pictures, especially the first one. we've lost all the flowers on our trees-i'm kind of glad they won't be messing up my yard, now. as pretty as they were, of course.
Pute white petals against a dark green background: so lovely. Why can't they stay there for a few weeks longer. So sad to see flowers disappear again. I find that hard to accept each and every year.
Isn't it crazy how the natural world just springs to life -- and closes just as quickly? I loved seeing the cherry blossoms this year but couldn't believe how quickly their blossoming passed!
I am quickly taking pictures of spring blossoms only to find many petals have already hit the ground. :-( Lovely lovely photos, Icy. I am glad you were able to capture some before the wind and rain chased them off.
Here we waited so long for Spring to arrive, Icy, and, now, Summer is almost here! What will you being doig with the kids once school is out?

ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at how rubbish Spring is. It feels like winter. Then summer comes up and goes quickly to welcome in the cold weather again.
