Yellow Flower In the Grass
This tiny yellow flower grows among the grass, and is part of what we so-called weeds. With the rain we have this year, the grass and the weeds grow quicker than others.
If you look carefully, you will see little flowers like this to enjoy. It is so tiny that we often step on without knowing.
Have a fantastic new week..

very beautiful Icy, are these bermuda sorrel? they usually cover the grounds here during early spring and one of the first bloomers, i call them wildflowers though they may be weeds because they have beautiful flowers and of their carpeting nature, it looks so beautiful when they carpet the whole hills
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed to say that until last year many of these flowers were overlooked by me but now I get great delight in seeing them!
ReplyDeletethese tiny flowers are too beautiful to ignore!
ReplyDeletePlus a little red spidermite inside :-)
ReplyDeletethat first photo is beautiful! have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThey resemble my buttercups growing everywhere on my lawn. Can't get rid of them, but at least they're pretty, right?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little wildflowers!
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show you...one man's weeds are another's pretty picture!
ReplyDeleteAdorable little flower!! You captured it well and love the drop.
ReplyDeleteSo just who determines which ones are weeds and which ones are plants we want in our gardens? Some weeds have beautiful flowers and foliage. I think if it is difficult to grow and takes constant attention and care, that is the one we want in our garden--go figure!!! Have a nice week. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteHow can we be so ignorant?
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely little flower/weed - whatever. I know I love the yellow lupine I see along the CA coast. People say it is a pest, taking over the hillsides but it does look so lovely on our drives. I've looked it up and I guess it comes in other colors - but all I ever see are yellow.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, calling by to catch up and finding as always some lovely photos.Thankyou for your kind words on News From Italy. We had a wonderful time at the wedding this weekend, now back catching up with all the jobs that need doing in the garden having been left for a few days!
